Crackin' an Egg

This is Ingo having a go at the ostrich egg Alicia bought off another one of our Ingos. It was about 1/4 inch thick and about 6 in. long. HUGE!
Too bad it had gone off - would have been interesting to have ostrich scrambled eggs.

  1. Claire, my name is Steve and I had the honor of being able to spend a week in Kargi in the latter half of June along with a team from my church. What a wonderful experience and I am fascinated by your blog, so many memories resurrected by your posts and photos. We got to experience Soryio and made great friends that we hope to see again this side of Heaven.

  2. We passed through Korr on our way to kargi, by that time we were ready to get to our destination and so did not stop. Now I wish we had stopped and had the opportunity to meet you and your friends. The Rendille are such a sweet people who welcomed us with open arms; if we offended them with our ignorance of their culture they never let us know of such offense.
